Responding to demand at rapid pace

Altron is a South Africa-based technology services company, established in 1965, with over 4,700 people in six countries. They provide a wide-range of industry solutions, digital business and distribution services, and support 50% of the companies in the JSE Top 100. To help staff large transformation projects, they needed access to a much greater pool of talent than available in South Africa, and so they turned to India.‍

Niche skills

We started working with Altron in October 2021. Initially we were asked to hire niche technical skillsets to join long-term projects with large banking and telecommunication clients. Our first few hires were in DevOps, PL/SQL and Ab Initio.

Diversification

As client demand grew, we were asked to help scale a number of teams – we hired rapidly across DevOps and Quality Assurance. Our reputation for hiring high-quality talent then reached other departments across Altron – we expanded outside of software development, and into smart engineering.
